May 21, 2012 5:23pm love your games man. if the same amount of detail and finesse in CoM and fixation was put into more retail games, the world would be a better place.

Thanks a bunch! I don’t really like to make my own walkthroughs (feels…dirty?), but there are various ones for Spewer sprinkled around the internet–Google should help.

Apr 23, 2012 11:40pm I love CoM and Fix, but I am still not sure if her death is metaphorical or real…. and what did he jump off the air from in fix at the end cutscene? lol

This was the part confusing because I haven’t played CoM for years and my memory of the ending cut scene to the game got faint D: I mean, I thought Jack “killed” Kathryn by cutting her out of his life and returning his old life. I guess this is not the case. Now, I hope her death was not Jack pushing her off his house. his house was not even that tall to kill people. :P (Now can I ask how exactly he killed her? He carried no weapon when he was with her in the last chapter of Fix, yet he managed to pull up a green box to bury her. Maybe the green box is a metaphor for soil now?) And last but not least, I can safely assume that Kathryn’s ex-roommate or her parents or her co-workers figured that she stopped contact and something suspicious happened? show less

You’re right that in between the two games, there’s a period where the characters start to realize that Kathryn has disappeared. Some of the questions you have are given specific (but sometimes subtle) attention. The green box, for instance, gets a sturdy literal explanation in Fixation. Other details, however (like the specifics of how Kathryn died), aren’t actually important to the story, and were never even written. Remember that the important part is always the cause. show less

That’s some sound advice, though in the context of the story, Kathryn didn’t really get a chance to die from smoking.

May 11, 2012 12:58pm Hi 2DArray, I really love your game “The Company of Myself”. Yesterday, I discovered “Fixation”, loved it too, finished it, and played “The Company of Myself again”. you can skip dialogue if you want, some people such as myself appreciate long and well-thought stories like the ones in Clash of the Dragons, Dawn of the Dragons, Zelda or MARDEK

I agree, the story is what makes these games. I enjoy these games for the story.

By the way, if you’d rather play the game without any dialogue at all, try entering the cheat “ShutYourMouthThomas” on the credits page.

May 12, 2012 9:22am I don’t suppose you plan on making the audio for TCoM or Fixation available for people, do you? I’m not talking a full blown soundtrack or anything (that’s a lot of work) but they’re pretty cool just to have on in the background.

Apr 28, 2012 11:28pm Please make a spewer 2, you could do so much more with it, like using the bile to digest enemies (like rl) or maybe an acid spewer that melts their faces? just a few things off the top of my head but it really is a good game and I’d love more of it.

Unfortunately, I’m not too interested in fixing up old projects–I know better than anyone that they’re all chock full of easily fixable problems, but at this point that’s just part of their charm to me. And even if they’ve got flaws, I’ve learned important lessons from them, so future stuff can be even radder! show less

I’m using CS5. But If You’re newbie You can use Stencyl, GameMaker etc. But if You’re really want to be a dev, use CS5 or CS5.5. Sadly, it’s not free.

But, fortunately, most software can be pirated. Get uTorrent and get an account at Demonoid (Or just use TPB), and you’re good to go.

May 10, 2012 7:41am I was pretty amazed with your works Fixation and The Company of Myself, until I came up to your account and stumbled upon another game I had played some time ago, and which pleased me a lot: YFYIAR. You can surely create an interesting plot for a game. Congratulations.
