Have you heard about the Gear Wars? Anyways, the Gear Wars got into its climax around 1290 BCE (That’s Before Counter-Clockwise for all you Anti-Gearites out there). The battle progressed and ended in absolute desolation which is why I stop off at Earth as often as I can. But, the thing about the Gear War, is that it was never about the gears at all and even if it was , the gears always win. Remember that. As for the wars, there are only a handful of things to be remembered sadly, the majority of the battles produced nothing but valleys of blood, sweat and Gears. But, the one thing that gets my gears turning to this day is the battle of Great Cog, our finest mechanism to date. It is where we defended our sovereignty from the wretched Schlipity Dops and gained back our long forgotten stockpile of Gears (nearly quadrupling our current stockpile). Because of this many people believe the myth that it was about the Gears, but as Grandfather Cranckshaft IV famously said: ‘If I could save The Homeland without gaining any gears I would do it, and if I could save it by gaining all the gears I would do it, and if I could save it by gaining some and leaving others alone I would also do that. It’s a fantastic song. I’m the Wander of Kongregate, I’ve spent many years passing by and experiencing anything and everything that could have happened and has happened here. I remember the first day, my dawning in Ant Hill. I remember the trolls before trolling was a thing. I remember being new to the internet and in turn I was easily manipulated and deceived by others due to my ignorance but in turn I remember those who held me by the hands and taught me. I remember how I struggled to be somebody, I remember adapting myself to those around me. It was tough, but I did it. As the years passed by it became easier to be a likable person but it also took a turn. For every year that passed I can see the faces of my friends and comrades passing away in the wind. Their smiles fading in the dusk as the sun settled to bring in a new day, but never vanishing. I know more than anyone how it feels to live in regret and I constantly want to go back in time and live in the past, but, that won’t ever happen. It’s better not to live in melancholy, to remember that there is always a tomorrow and there will always be new faces and smiles to remember. We need to learn how to let go and we need to learn how to see the light. Though the past has molded me and prepared me for a better future I will never forget or elude myself that things will be the way they once were, I’ll always push forward. You asked me to tell a bit about myself and this is who I am. I am a man who has experienced hardships. A man who has cried, lied and tried. I’m a survivor. I’m a wanderer. I’ve laughed, I’ve Yelled, I’ve smiled, I’ve blown out steam from my head. I’m someone who looks at the past, smiles and sheds a tear but looks towards the future and sees an array of stars and grins. I love this site and all my friends, enemies and everyone inbetween from the past, to the present to the future. This is who I am. This is what kongregate has made me.
