Parker Brothers, “Game of Life.” I distinctly remember how fond I was of the raised elements of the landscape and how, seeing all those options laid out in front of me, made it seem as though a better future was possible. There was also the visceral, private aspect of taking the small, pastel pegs that represented male/female/boy child/girl child and, ever-so-slowly, biting through the peg. I recall no overt symbolism in this act, only pure, sensual pleasure. Activity FeedAwardsFriendsMy Games |
