16 hours ago I was wondering, will you remove the mage’s talent priority system? It’s kinda annoying it always picks single targets spells first against bosses. Where’s the point of having a priority system if you can’t really use it. Thx for listening.

This is a good point. The mages single vs AOE priority system was in place before the new system, but should probably be removed now.

i half agree with you. it isn’t the best, you mostly have to pay for those, my favorite is one you can pay for so that makes the devs work on it but is a nice balance of not having to. the best … show morei half agree with you. it isn’t the best, you mostly have to pay for those, my favorite is one you can pay for so that makes the devs work on it but is a nice balance of not having to. the best thing about this game is it is satasfactory to leave the game up while you are away at school grinding and come back several levels later. amazing game, best i have ever played that you don’t pay for anything ingame, for some reason if you are able to pay the develops usually work better at it and update it, but i will admit looking from teh update log you update this game, taht alone is enough to show you are one of the better developers on kongregate it seems. show less

Have you ever considered adding in other dungeons (especially at lower levels)? This would not only give people more options of where to grind, but it would add in a bit more diversity in the game and a bit more challenge for getting “meta is meta”. People have been asking for new types of items or for unique loot at different levels? Give final bosses of each level type a 5% chance to drop varying stages of chests. Give each chest a loot table of maybe 3-5 unique items from the dungeon in WoW and spec them for grindquest, maybe give them slightly better stats for level or some kind of effect or something (just make em stand out and above the level’s norm). The player “uses” the chest item, like you would use resources for crafting or “consuming” a flask, and it is replaced with a random item from the loot table. This would add an immense amount of depth, diversity, and uniqueness to the game based on the character and class and player choice. Much of the game is endlessly grinding normal trash anyways, and it’s very difficult to afk grind dungeons effectively without wasting a lot of time as a ghost (at least at intended dungeon level), so if you wind up finding one of these items at level it’d really be a morale boost to the player and would be a great incentive to keep people playing. It’s really kicking my butt and I’m at full int lvl 8 guild with the DPS skills against the 7th boss…. show less

I’m assuming this is just a dumb mistake on your part, cause if you charge a player for something and take the buff (costing 17.5g at lv 30) away after 5 min because they logged out (when it should last for an hour). If I had to guess though, I would guess that what you meant to do was ask Abra why he doesn’t put in items, suck as purple items, into lower level dungeons for people who take a chance with them. I think that it’d be a nice addition to the game as well, though before even that, there needs to be a LOT more diversity in items. As it is now my toon is level 30 and has, for all purposes, been using the same f-ing items since level one, just with different stats and the same name. this game DESPERATELY needs more variety a whole lot more than most of the “upcoming updates” listed on his website (which range from generally useless to batshit pointless, with only one or two that are really needed at this point). show less

Exp has boosters already in the game, such as pull size. You just need to be able to adjust your own character’s settings accordingly to handle the challenges. No risk, no reward. show less

Mar 31, 2012 5:56pm just some ideas i had for grindquest: 1) the ability to destroy loot instead of having to go sell them to a vendor, and 2) a log of recent events including kills, exp gained, loot acquired, etc. with time stamps, and a filter to choose what it displays

Mar 23, 2012 9:56am You REALLY need to fix it so that we can macro dungeon fights for exp and epic gear. Currently it simply changes your mode to “Rest” after you’ve beat the dungeon. It makes it so that you have to be online clicking to rerun the dungeon and defeats the purpose of grindquest.

If that isn’t possible, maybe have quests give a random weapon of blue (with maybe 5% chance of purple) quality that is the same level as the mob killed for the quest. This way, its still random, and you might not get what you want, but at least you get something you might be able to use. Lastly, off-hand weapons of strength would be nice to experiment with for people who want to have agi main-hand and str off-hand, or vice versa. I know the other way is already possible, but this would be nice to see. Thanks again show less

Character gains +10 to all base stats OR +0.1 or so growth per level. This bonus stacks with each reset, likely not a defined roof value, since it takes a while to reset anyway, and this will reward long-time players, and give an incentive to never stop playing. Epic item the new character can wear, or just no-defined-class item. Highscore value for number of resets. show less
