If you change weapons while the unlimited ammo powerup is active, no matter which weapon you use (or if you switch back to the initial weapon) the benefit disappears and the screen color-change remains...
Turns out if you kill a red skeleton and something else at the same time, the skeleton comes back and can no longer be hurt...very annoying. Otherwise, great game!
Fun, and surprisingly addictive. I wanted to give up early, since I saw the game was unfinished and just wanted to try it...but ended up playing through getting 100 in each stat. I can't wait to see the final version!
I'm confused...my weapons can shoot THROUGH the enemy without HURTING him, both at long and close range. Plus, for no apparent reason, one of my weapons will stop functioning for a while, even though I'm not overheated or heavily damaged, and then restart again later.
Also, I love how you can get hit with all the knives on the bonus level, lose all your health, NOT DIE, and go through the rest of the game with them in you...PLUS all the bullet holes and blood already accumulated.
Love the game - wish it was twice as long! That being said, I've seen the same bugs - and I'm kinda bothered by the fact that if you aren't in the right place when fighting some of the bosses (when getting them to half health) then you automatically die from any of their attacks. That raising platform thing can be a killer. Plus, it's kinda annoying that if my enemies fall to their deaths, they can still shoot at me. If I fall into a bottomless pit or onto spikes, it kills me; it should do the same for them!
Love the game, HATE the fact that I need to pay if I want to be able to have enough energy to use abilities. Five energy for winning is NOTHING, considering that you have an ability that requires that much, and another that requires twice as much. So you either have to pay, or to grind in order to get enough energy to use your "tricks."
Excellent game, though easy once you figure out the basic patterns. Strange, though - I found perfect versions of the starting gear were often far better than perfect versions of leveled gear. No problems with crashing or freezing, no issues with savegames (despite what some have said). I like the leveling system, though I wish I could redistribute my skill points to try out different tactics and see what works best.
Sorry, but the controls, especially for moving and jumping, make the game not worth playing on the higher levels. Without decent control of your character, it's more annoying than fun.
Give us some idea as to what a pet can DO! Why would I switch my leveled-up pet for a new one unless I had some idea of how they compared? And tell us what abilities/skills DO, rather than having us just randomly use them! Why would I waste fire shards on an ability unless I had some good idea of how helpful it will be?
I'm somewhat confused - once you get the skill to auto-collect your income you win every level instantly as soon as it's time to collect income. What's the point of playing after that?
I've gotta agree with most of what's already posted. And there are few things more frustrating than watching your more-powerful tank get pummeled by a weaker tank because your AI is too stupid to aim at the non-moving opponent, and continues to shoot over its head.
Incredibly annoying...you can know exactly how to shoot the fireball, but be unable just because the aiming isn't sensitive enough. I've run through shots that are 99.9% identical dozens of times in order to get the correct bounce.
Loved the game, but it's somewhat annoying that the enemy shots (and the small viruses that follow you) can easily get hidden in the mix of outgoing fire and incoming bits. It might be helpful if you made the colors a little more differentiated, so it was easier to tell them apart.
