About all your complaints towards the Battle System (1 Damage, Double Turn, Army Upgrades...): we FIXED it in our next games Fantasy Kommander 2, Kaos Kommander and Chroma Wars. We have developed a completely NEW Battle System that will be launched with our upcoming game "Fantasy Kommander-Eukarion Wars".

This game is huge, so we hope you'll understand that is very very difficult for use to make changes and improvements on the main gameplay.
About the Knowledge: It affects Abiliy Points during the level up and the objects price.
We worked very hard on this project and we hope the rating will be higher on Kong in the next future (now is 3,59 only... on AOG it's 4,79...).

@theblade180 I am sorry, but I am not sure I understand your comment, since the upgrades do exactly what you're saying (increase attack/money/energy, depending on the turret). It's all written in the info tooltips. Can you help me understand this better, please?

Apologise for this.
The bug was fixed but you have to play from a saved game that starts from the 8th battle (or lesser) because the bug is also in the saved games after the 9th battle.

About the damage:
1-2 damage (minimal damage rule) is an attrition damage that is done when the army FAIL the attack.
The damage range of the armies refers to the damage when the army HITS an enemy (please consider also that from the damage is subtracted the enemy armor protection).

Damage: it's the damage if you hit an enemy army.
When you fail an attack there's the minimal damage rule (1-2 damage of attrition).
Consider always all the modifiers during your attacks (attacks fronts are really important, except cities etc.)
For example: A light infantry (1st level) has a melee attack 60%, but if you attack an enemy in the forest you'll have a malus of -25%, so your attack range will be 35%... BUT if you'll atcck from the flank you'll have +50%... etc.
If you play and attack not considering tactics, stategy and rules of the game you'll see often 1-2 damage.
