This is a fun and compelling concept, but begins to get old quickly. This could be very improved with the ability to get upgrades, like a wider cursor area.
Starting with larger firework bodies, you could then have decrease in size to make it more difficult in later songs.
It could also be drastically improved by creating a wider variety of explosion patterns as well, besides those you've already included. Not being limited by actual pyro-technic and physical laws, you should be able to create very interesting patterns not able to be done in real life.
A very fun game with a great concept... there are some design additions that would make it better, however, like a 'skip into' action to skip right to the ball's placement on a hole when trying to redo a level, like when collecting the rainbow segments... for example, on hole 15, having to wait through the hot air ballon animation over and over is rather tedious when needing to restart that level if you miss one of the rainbow segments on the first runnel.
A great concept, but things still do spin and float too much to be anywhere near realistic and user friendly in placement of objects.
3 stars now, but would be more if the control was better.
I'd really suggest fixing the severely unbalanced enemy battle system to make this game more fun. Otherwise, you've left some very obvious spelling errors that detract from the professionalism of this game.
The visuals are great, and lots of fun to look at, but the playability needs a lot of work to make it something that I would come back to, as it lacks true objectives, and more depth than trying to create basic orbits.
With the technological achievements of cloning, high-tec non-lethal weaponry, and intergalactic travel, one would think they would have at one time developed the technology of a locking door...
Bugs:
1- No way to cancel placement of a gun after choosing it (provided you have enough money...) even by trying to select a different cheaper gun to place instead.
2- speeding up time does not speed up the next-wave wait period after pressing... hence, playing on double time makes you wait the same amount of time as if playing on normal, not speeding up the game at all.
This game would be much better if you made the items more distinguishable... some items don't look anything like what they are said to be, and many are named things that other items could double as, such as vases and jars... many look as though they could be labeled as either.
1- A player should be able to mulligan his hand to draw a new one, with a loss of one starting card. (this would be helpful in cases where no energy producing structures are available in hand to start)
2- A separation of structures / ships/ & other cards in the deck builder would help to see what you currently have placed in your custom deck.
I gave this game a very rare 5 stars, despite the scrolling text bugs. The interesting story, mostly intuitive adventure interface, and immersive world coupled with the beautiful art style and music that draws you into the world make this a great experience. Good job! I hope to see the scrolling bugs fixed when you can.
This game has a sever issue with balance, and a horrible lag that drastically decreases game play ability. If you fix these, your game will be much better.
This is a fun game with decent atmospheric music and well developed puzzles... however, as with most of these types of games, the ease of movement and development of the movement scheme still lacks intuitiveness and finesse, as some 'rooms' are difficult to move to, and are even tough to know they are there at first.
