Well Am Anubis an ancient Egyptian god. Am the god of embalming and assisting the dead. Am usually depicted with a human body and a jackal head, but sometimes just as a jackal.Some people believe that his jackal form became associated with mummification because jackals dig up dead things buried in the desert.
