Hey, if you haven’t got those headphones already, Razer just came out with some true Surround Sound ones – you can get more information here. I think they’re cheaper than the turtle beach’s would be, too.

Thanks, I’ll consider getting those. But, would you know if they would be compatible with the 360 at all? With it being what appears to be a headset built only for PC use, I would guess not, but could I perhaps buy an adapter that would allow it?

Also, I’m pretty sure the PX5 is true surround sound. And I’ve heard some bad things about Razer’s Headphone quality, but regardless, I’ll make sure to research this headset a bit when it comes time for me to buy a headset, which will probably be a while from now.

By the way, I bought that mouse that I had discussed in the thread (the R.A.T. 7), and I’m pretty happy with my purchase. The only issue I have with it is that once in a while one of the lasers (this mouse has two, one for each “axis”) decides to not respond for a second. It’s not much of a problem, but it has caused me to die once in TF2. Still, the pros (solid construction, smooth gliding, thumb scroll, customization options, etc) outweigh the one con I’ve found. And, as I suspected prior to purchase, after fiddling with the different mouse attachments and such for a couple hours, it now fits my hand perfectly, and is extremely comfortable ^^

Yeah alright, I agree that I shouldn’t have pointed out anyone there, and that the hypocrite comment was a bit unnecessary.

1) I personally think it would be fun to fire off a few rounds from an anti-material rifle (which I assumed is banned) at a firing range.

2) Yeah, I know how it’s supposed to work, but it’s not exactly the most difficult thing in the world to buy an illegal weapon. And like Fuzzy mentioned, you could always buy a semi-auto AK and mod it to make it full-auto.

From a technical stand point that could be done with any semiauto, but yea in the case of an AK its a tad to easy. The things you learn and see being around rednecks its one of the reasons I support more regulation and restrictions.
When you say anti-material you mean a .50cal or more like a 20mm? either way the big rush will only be at ranges with 600yard or greater distances at least that is what I would want. Yea that does sound fun but again why should someone even be able to privately own such a thing. I’m fine being able to rent such a thing where its use would have hopefully 0 possibility of danger to user or bystanders.

And I wasn’t advocating anyone privately owning it, as there’s no practical use unless you want to take down armored cars or something, but just being available at a government owned or regulated firing range would be good enough.

No idea if jhco is actually retired and whatnot, but with this forum, you’ve got to take claims like that with a hefty dose of skepticism.
