Some challenges are impossible if your keyboard is not capable of registering three keys at once. (Shooting diagonally, for instance). Too bad there's no way to bind "Aim Diagonally" on the controls screen!
The button for resetting the talent tree is in the shop, listed at the bottom, for 100gp. Whatever you do, DON'T PRESS IT. I reset my talent tree, and now my Spell Quickbar is GONE. No more spells for me. I guess I should buy it again, and only spend talent points in non-spell buffs, considering.
Laser trackers, bomb walls, kamikaze critters... And this is only Difficulty 4?! Heck, I'd hate to see Difficulty 10. Wall of impervious impenetrable spikes. Maybe it's because I've starred all the previous levels on the first try, and you think people should be grinding these levels and have a weapon damage greater than 8 by now and more tiers of the shop unlocked. Well I think maybe you should balance your game some more, or provide more of a hint as to what you think each level's difficulty actually means, by showing recommended DMG instead of arbitrary numbers like "3" or "4".
Tips: Up jumps. Down drops through platforms. You fight by running into the enemy, but you can jump over them to skip a fight. Enemies will only drop their own equipment. Equipping all items from one enemy (in a vertical set) offers you unique abilities, like fish magnet, trap detection, double shot, double damage, etc. You can see these by hovering over the name of the character that appears. Fish provide XP which gains you levels. Your cats gain stat points for each level gained, which appear inside paws on the inventory screen. Assign them by clicking on your cats' stats. The 'shoe' stat is not that cat's speed, but a part of your team's "endurance pool", which allows you to run further in a level before wearing yourselves out. If you find it hard to make it through a level, repeatedly beat certain enemies until you have their whole set, and equip it. To restart a level before the end, click pause, and 'Again'... Okay, that's all I got. Good luck.
The tutorials should NOT be skippable using the ARROW KEYS. "Sorry, you jumped at the wrong time. You missed some CRUCIAL INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO PLAY THE GAME. Gee, thanks, Rosso. Thanks BigDino. THANKS OBAMA.
Still not sure which button I pressed in order to activate a powerup, the game won't repeat the instructions, and "Use your mouse to play" is pretty vague, HighUpStudio. Considering there's an in-game achievement for activating powerups, you'd think this information is a bit too important to just tell people once. Oh, it looks like it's DoubleClick. Well how do you know I didn't just want to fire my boosters twice in rapid succession?
Leveling up your NPCs shouldn't make them even bigger morons. The Archer now feels he needs to run even further from the enemies before he takes a shot, and the Rogue won't stop chasing the Archer around trying to defend him from the creatures he's failing to avoid.
