Terrible framerate means terrible control. Terrible control means ending up in places to get stuck. Lousy collision detection means stuck fish.

I'd love to know why this game is so framerate crushing. If it were playable, I think it'd be fun.

Fun game, but ridiculous that it won't accept any working solution. Fix that, and it'd be a winner.

Was enjoying it, but now it won't load any level for me. Forever Loading....

The tutorial leaves out an important piece of information: the goal of the game. I'm still not sure what it is I'm supposed to be achieving, so the entire exercise is a bit pointless.

Fun, but needs to be optimized to be playable. Managed to lag through floor, into the endless abyss. Which is not exciting.

Clever, fun. Great music. Great tone. Well done.

I think I'm missing the point. Upgrade a few things, sleep, eat, plant a carrot, work. Repeat endlessly. I do like that I am unhappy if I sleep with the lights off, though.

Nicely done game, but loses points for not actually saving saves. Which sort of ruins the whole concept. Just sayin'.

Really nicely done game. Bad bug on the "main enemy defense" level, though. Three buildings appear to be under the terrain--without a way to destroy them, the level cannot end.

Tries so hard to be understated and poetic that it comes off a bit precious to me. Thought it was nicely structured, though, and had a consistent tone throughout. It actually got better deeper into the game, which is rare. 4/5

Backtracking is bad. Backtracking in the first 3 minutes is bad game design. The Robot Wants [Kitty/Puppy/Fishy/Ice Cream] series is a good implementation of the same premise, but with much better level design and more meaningful upgrades. The challenge level isn't well-balanced--being easy isn't always a problem, but it is a problem having no consequences at all for dying (other than being moved backwards, which is sometimes actually faster than traversing the space). Still, it plays fairly well, and it shows some promise. 3/5
Play Me And The Key 2 Me And The Key 2 Nov. 18, 2010
Solid, though the first one was superior. The puzzles seemed, on the whole, easier, and there were too many dexterity-based challenges for my taste. Still, a good game.

Takes too long to earn enough to buy anything. Got bored long before.

Nice. A game that not only tosses around the word "retarded," but manages to spell it wrong. Fail. 1/5

I can understand how it would be a fun game if it were remotely playable. Unfortunately, on three different computers, my controls get stuck after performing any action. It's a shame, as it looks like it might be fun. For now, though, it gets 1/5 (as we can't rate 0/5). Pretty pathetic that this game has badges.

As others have noted, it's a game with a lot of potential, but a few basic issues mar the experience. Pause is needed. Greater inventory/storage is needed (or have shards/equipped items not take space). The leveling curve is a bit borked @18-22. Loot variety is limited. That said, this is a game with a ton of promise. It could be a winner with a few tweaks.

If there were a way to actually play this game, I'll bet it would be fun. However, the controls are so terrible, it's absolutely impossible to enjoy it. Really--how does someone release a game where the controls simply don't work?
Play Drift Runners 2 Drift Runners 2 Apr. 09, 2010
For a racing game, I think it's brilliant. Enough variety to keep me playing long past when I'd normally put it down. That said, it has the same problem as a lot of racing games, which is that the difficulty ramps up unevenly, and there's a hard wall (at least for my skill level), which made me quit. 4/5

I want to like it, but terrible UI design makes it annoying as hell. Right click menu? How about R to replay? Little changes would go a long way with this one.
