I had it. Just realized it only does 4x damage then stops even if the creep is still blue. Thought if blue = still taking damage.

The money bug, where you buy an upgrade and go play and exit a map, is kinda lame. But to beat levels just repeat the previous ones, and quantity > quality. Upgrading is so expensive it isn't worth it unless you run out of spots.
