About me

The Arrival
I hear a ringing, a ringing you would hear on an alarm clock but more a for sinister reason. Although the ringing opens a door from which a light escape, a light I have not seen in many years. I walk outside the door and then through the gate a car is waiting for me I step inside and await my freedom to actually kick in.
I wait in the car ready to quickly get out and take a shower alone for once and to take a nap that isn’t uncomfortable. Unfortunately no matter how bad I want to be alone I have to live with my sister until I can find my own place again. As of a week ago when my release was publicized a group had burned down my apartment specifically.
We reach her house, although I don’t show it I am filled with glee. I get out grab my things and walk towards the door when I get there I stand aside knowing this neighborhood she has the door locked. She walks towards the door unlocks it, I smirk knowing I was correct, and we both walk in. I set my things down and have a look around, my sister looking at me questioningly. I pick up my things and say,” So the couch then?” in a harsh underused voice,” Vince you know the drill so well” in a half way innocent and sarcastic voice.
I quickly ask where the shower is and proceed to my bag for my body wash and shampoo so that I may not seem like I’m a freeloader in my sisters home I head upstairs and look around for the bathroom holding the shower. I await with glee the running water of loneliness that I have so longed for. I go tout fried off and put on my clothes headed down stairs and took my nap. I wake up and it seems my nap was a 10-hour one, although I’m not complaining as for my sister that’s another story.
I get up and do my daily steps before I had went to Juvy, got my coffee, sat down, crank my coffee, put dishes up and walk out of the house. I haven’t been in the town in so long but I know where the library is. As I walk to the library I get looks that only a juvenile delinquent could get I just ignore them I stop at a gas station along the way to grab a some gum. I visit many news websites to see what I’ve missed and I burst into tears…my freedom has finally kicked in because I’m looking at 6 years of my life gone, I leave the library embarrassed but happy.
