It's brilliant, but the random factor causes too many unavoidable deaths. I have died because of jumping a falling thing only to land too late to jump to the next building too many times. Some kind of check to make sure this never happens would make it perfect!
Kongregate benfit from people buying Flash because they get more games. However, Kongregate also benefit from people pirating Flash.
I'm liking the tuts, but think they maybe needed an introductory one first, talking about the concept behind ActionScript. I imagine some people are confused by things that anybody who has done any kind of programming can understand perfectly well.
If your ship doesn't move, simply save the entire fla, close flash, then reload everything. Make sure you are saving Ship.as every time you add anything to it.
