About me

I am here to play games, have fun, and give my opinion on what are and are not good games. I have a game rating rhetoric that goes as follows: There are five sections (Gameplay, Graphics, Sound, Functionality, Replayability) and each section is given a score between 0 and 5. Only the very, very poorest of games will earn a 0 in any section and if I believe a game has earned a five in a section, it will recieve that. After the totals are added up, I convert it from a number out of 25 to a number out of 5 and round accordingly to a flat amount of stars for me to give it in the ratings. Afterward, I give an overview of the good features of the game and the bad features of the game. And finally, in the notes I give my personal opinion of the game or any other things about the game that didn't fit into the good/bad sections. Gameplay- Mostly the controls and concept of the game. If the game is a point-click, it will usually get a lower score, but if the game has many controls or many options, it will be scored highly in this area. Graphics- I know flash games don't have the best graphics, but I base the graphics score not on the art, but I pit the game against the current best graphics game on Kong. in my opinion (right now probably Sonny). Sound- Music, sound-effects, and such are rated here. Repetetive music and annoying music will get a low score- as well as no sounds at all. They will get slightly higher if the sound is adjustable or mutable. Games with great music or a large variety will score well here. Functionality- The base is 5/5 here and is graded down for any glitches, errors, or bugs in the game. Replayability- This is how much chance a player will play this game again. Games with no badges, no variety in gameplay, and/or games that are just plain no fun will score poorly here. Games with many badges, card challenges attached (at time of rating), many gameplay styles, that have achievable high scores or features to unlock within the game, and/or games that are just plain popular and fun will score well here. That is my rating system, love it or hate it, it will be how I rate the games. Games with rating of a perfect 5: Kongai. Kongai	Jul. 10, 2008 Gameplay: 5 Graphics: 4 Sound: 4 Functionality: 5 Replayability: 5 Total: 23/25 = 4.6/5 = 5/5 Good: Almost everything, great gameplay because of so many variations and cards, amazing replayability value, and no errors to be found (by me), pretty good graphics art, and fair sound. Bad: None. Notes: First game to be rated a 5/5 stars from me. Best multiplayer game on Kong- possibly the best game, period. " . . . +1 awesomeness . . ." -Greg.
Multiplayer Memotri	Jul. 06, 2008 Gameplay: 3 Graphics: 2 Sound: 3 Functionality: 5 Replayability: 5 Total: 18/25 = 3.6/5 = 4/5 Bad: Poor graphics, mediocre sound, and point-and-click controls. Good: Great replayability value as well as no errors/glitches to be found (by me). Notes: Great simple multiplayer game.
Golden Arrow 3	Jul. 06, 2008 Gameplay: 2 Graphics: 3 Sound: 3 Functionality: 5 Replayability: 4 Total: 17/25 = 3.4/5 = 3/5 Bad: Mediocre graphics, point-and-click style controls, and no real goal to game other than getting on High Scores list. Good: Fairly good sounds (birds chirping, crowd in uniform surprise, and the pulling back/letting loose of arrow), interesting take on a shooting game, and good replayability because only goal to game is getting on High Scores list. Notes: Would be more challenging if the little red circle was removed and windpower was varied- the red circle makes it a little easy.
