Awesome game, needs a 'chievo for level 3. Just a minor niggle, it would be better if trial numbers could appear larger but in a different colour or shade, it kind of throws off your rhythm if you have stare at the smaller numbers, in the end I just threw in the numbers keeping track of my certain numbers.
Finally got the hard badge, it's not that it's hard, it's just that it takes so long on the eighth and ninth course. Just try and get a good minus score by the third hole of each then use your irons to hedge the bets. The chaos course is easier if you try and get a one way streak going. Regardless you're still going to spend a few hours completing them until the cards lie right for you.
Haha the Australian topography is absolutely dreadful but otherwise the game's a great mental exercise. I was battling to keep a surplus once I hit the highest corporate size when I suddenly got a donation of 4.5M, that was enough to upgrade my sales and invade the remaining 3 zones with one hundred Zombie Heroes a battle.
I never thought I'd end up spending money on a flash game, then I realised, I spent 15 dollars on Defence Grid over on XBLA and this is a much better TD game. High scores would absolutely make this game great by adding up XP gain for each map, you'd also get people willing to pay to have a crack against some serious TD competition.
To pass trials 1,2,3,5 use the Hobbits, Goblins, Elf Hunter, Old Wizard, Succubus and Witch. Equip the Elf Hunter with the strongest attack increasing accessory and give the other ranged units the remaining best attack accessories. Then in battle use lightning bolt to attack tier 3 monsters or the boss and pushed all my units forward and kept my hero at the back.
For the 4th I used Viegraf and equipped him with the Robo Suit. Instead of the ranged units I used the Green Dragon, White Tiger, Inferno and Golem and equipped them with HP boosters. Use the Golem's Meteor attack just after the Beast King has done an attack and if any of your units travel past him move them back in front of the Beast and order to attack forward again. Eventually the Beast will get to attacking range of your hero, when that happens run to the opposite edge of the battle and drag him back using self heal quickly on the way then run back to the other edge. If all is right you'll only have to do that once.
