I had wings but I could not fly. Instead I could cast angel fire. I had minor magical powers. I was extremely skilled with long knives and Riddick blades. When I was 153 I was changed into a vampire. I was shunned from my family and my race and became an outcast, going from elf city to elf city to feed. I spent centuries honing my assassin skills. Every day for one thousand years I poured my magic into 4 large blocks of steel. When I was done they gained many magical powers like becoming sentient, being able to change their shape, and becoming unbreakable. Every few years I would join groups of adventurers but I never made friends with them knowing I would outlive all of them, even the ones of the most long lived races. --Race Backstory-- The Old elves were a very magical race that lived in floating cities above the earth. Even those with minor magical powers for them equaled the high mages of today. They were at war with another elven race called the dark elves. The dark elves believed in dominating all the other races. The old elves believed in befriending them. The dark elves attempted to destroy the old elves' floating city but the old elf high mages knew that the dark elves would try so they made a plan that the dark elves would destroy themselves and the old elves. This happened about 2000 years ago.
