Is this an early April Fools' joke? The counter resets once you get over 1000 bubbles on the screen, yet *that* wasn't what triggered Game Over for me. I just don't know why this game...you know what? I just don't know why this game.
having an odd keyboard problem - when it asks me to enter my name, if I type 'Effulgent', I end up with Euen. After some trial an error, it seems that only the letters "acekmnortuy" work. And now I'm going to spend the rest of my evening anagramming those letters and the missing ones looking for a hidden message/easter egg. Well played, sir.
Every time one of these Papa's Wage Slavearia games comes out, I always try it, get unreasonably mad at it, and never play it again. Turns out, what every other entry in the series was missing was targets during the building. So, so much better. I am astounded at how much that little red circle fixes. This will be the first game in the series that gets a rating over 3 from me.
Fun game, but could definitely use some kind of labeling on the buttons - I keep feeling like I'm not really playing at top efficiency, and accidentally restarted twice thinking I was closing the menu.
my only two suggestions are really just cosmetic - I'd make the 'start game' a bit more prominent, and perhaps add some kind of arrow indicating the starting stage (I sat looking at that screen for some time before realizing it was meant to be a level select screen)
