Introduce badges, delete save file. Coupled with the continued presence of nag screens, I have to rate this as a 1. Blame Kong, not me: get them to stop sucking now that they're owned by greedy-ass gamestop.
Holding? Have you ever even PLAYED pinball? Anyway that rule is stupid, but a bigger problem is the computer thinking you're holding when in fact the ball is below the flippers or you're not actually touching the ball. If you're getting holding for just not getting the ball out of your zone, you need to explain that in a tutorial or something.
Excellent premise but it needs work; more refinement on the particle physics, reduce the strike area of the laser point and fix the collision detection problem with the sides. 3/5 for now.
Whist I know HG Wells' classic is in the public domain now, you might want to avoid using things that look/sound EXACTLY like the props in that movie they made recently, since big movie studios tend to be pissy about copyright and such.
Like a lot of flash game developers who don't bother putting in the research (or thought) required, this game overcharges heavily on its micro-transactions. You can have the best game ever made, but if you overcharge for currency (shiny in your game) your margins will stay low. Alternatively you can make a game that's total crap (I'm looking at YOU, Zynga) but if the micro-transactions don't go past 10 or so bucks on average, they end up making more over the long term.
As an RPG you should get something for achievements, that is when you gain an achievement it should do something for your subsequent runs, like boost your starting level/gear/cash.
You want me spend nearly %50 to get a little extra cash in your game? Hahaha! Oh wait, you were SERIOUS? Let me laugh EVEN HARDER HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!
