There is a speedrun (not ingame time; it’s real time speedrun) on youtube that uses your exact same strategy; I’ve never been that keen of it to be honest since there are too much backtracks (which I never do) and it may surely save time if your target is to get a real time speedrun. Anyway it’s totally doable to get 100% in 1 day…
