As for the capacitor yes it is the yellow line with red things attacked, however all the And Gates Lined up in a line are serving as a time delay. Capacitors not in integrated circuits are round discs or cylinders on a circuit board. They delay the voltage to move through; the round discs are two electrical plates spaced a distance apart when the voltage builds up it dissipates and allows the electricity to flow through. Radios are made with these, as well as a DC to AC converter. Anything that has a sign wave, oscillates in electronics, usually has a capacitor in it. Sign wave is an up and down in current. Computers have a crystal oscillator that doesn’t use a capacitor to make a timed oscillation. Radios have a series of capacitors, orientation depending on their use. You’d learn a lot by typing in Analog Electronics Lecture off of Youtube. It’s Brain taxing so make sure your homework is done first. In time you’ll come to understand more about electronics. I figured out the Dual Frequency Ocillator. It was pretty easy, all I did was put a short in the middle of the long line of capacitors. You could view my comment on Konctpyktop I have several posts on how to make the circuits. Still I think it’s really neat that at 15 you have the opportunity to grasp such technical detail.
Your 15 and already know more than I do about Electrical Engineering. Cool. I’m just know learning about the circuitry in a microchip and that they are coded with numbers that are standard. So in a book I can look up all the grab bags I get from electronic stores for what I could use them for.
ON Konctpyktop I just got to the Dual Frequency thing I’ll keep you informed if I figure out how to incorporate the Flip Flop to the Ocillator.
