is there anyway to just pick up epic/heroic stuff? i mean i put it on, go to sleep, and all i have when i wake up is a bunch of crap. like you need an option to loot only "good" stuff lumping superior in with the rest just doesnt cut it
you need a "move past the goblin assassin with out stopping to attack him" command. since they kill you in one hit and are invincible. i tried to get the goblin madness quest done on epic and after about an hour i get it down to 75%. of course the death horn blows and 3 goblin assassins pop out with a bunch of meaningless other goblins and (unlike the other ones) just keep walking straight for your base until they kill it. at least in EW2 they only killed one unit at a time. in this they kill every thing in a small area in front of them making it impossible to spamm past them since all your units stop to attack them. you cant even stop time and MAKE your units go past them they just wont listen. so any way need a move with out attack command. otherwise goblin maddness is unbeatable on epic.
where do you get jade? been through the whole game and didnt get a single piece not even in the bonus area or bosses. also is there a way to get more candriathope? i cant make mardeks helmet from the blacksmith.
EPIC ... AWESOME ... 5/5
been missing these kind of games for long time now. Really dig the toungue in cheek humor but you still manage to get a story line in there, nicely done.
much too much darkness coupled with the protagonist being all black makes for alot of confusing jumping around. some kind of artistic story? seems like an exuse to have only like 9 lines of text (that mean nothing) in the whole game. 2/5
P.S. graphics are very nice otherwise.
is cool 'cept there is no way to beat orbelugs on the ground. i mean its bad enough that they take your unit, but they also get full health and when they inevitably smash your base and go off the side of the screen they(orbelugs) get the energy for them not any refund for you. also in the later stages when orbelugs are in the middle they get double spawn. this isnt really a problem since they have 2 fronts 'cept when you get an air stage and using one air unit basically doubles your energy since it flies off the side of the screen on both sides.
so like for a game that wants money it sure has a lot of bugs. this barrel game i'm currently stuck on seems to do nothing except have mad amounts of barrels roll back and forth across the screen. i got a flashy mouse cursor but that doesnt seem to do any thing. the instructions said some cryptic thing about using arrow keys but i dont have any luck with that either. i geuss i just refress this game AGAIN
fun game but why does the fame requirement still go up when you fail to meet it? seems overly rough, like kicking someone when they down. and just starts the ball rolling down hill where you cant ever make it again
also i find haveing 2 guns is benificial one main and one back up. so for like small guns you can go revolver/sniper pistol/laser main and have like pistol machine gun/laser back up and save reloading them till you hit rampage since you reload twice as fast. also can switch to the gun you need for the situation. i.e. laser rips up tanks and machine gun is great for air mobs.
() the best combo i found is in rifle i use machine gun and assault rifle. machine gun when they accross the screen and assault rifle when they get close and assault rifle does decent damage to tanks and such. need burst fire for that combo to work well though.
i still dont know what teamwork base skill does.
oh and after day 50 or so make sure you get your villa up to arround 50% and start partying every day.
@K2000
get as many followers as quickly as possible (they will kill the stuff that you let slip) ideally you wanna get a perfect score every day that way you get +30% gold. I try to get taunt as quickly as possible and focus it till its maxed at 5. then taunt as much as possible till like day 40 (equals mega money). i find that geting a hunting rifle or revolver and head crit shotting every thing for the first 9 or so days make them rather easy, after that focus on what ever gun you like. make sure you dont upgrade your town to fast because they have lingering charges on every day. repair guys cost you 50 gold every day extra inventory cost you 50 gold every day sandbags cost 40 gold, etc.. i try to get by with just one repair guy for as long as possible and maybe 4 extra inventory slots. The nessary skills i think are active, taunt, and leadership(from sherrif). for long game you need threat and engineering.
