About me

I like games, all kinds of games really except puzzle and fighting games. I also like my games to be hard, but can appreciate easy games sometimes too.

I’m a fan of Touhou, along with many of the fanmade games related to it, as well as a good Japanese shmup. I’m such a gaming/shmup nut that I bought mushihimesama-futari for the xbox 360 for like $100…and I don’t have an xbox, nor do I plan on getting on within the year.

To me playing a game and enjoying it isn’t just about beating it, but I like to really understand the rules of the game. Like a physicist explores the rules of reality, I like to figure out the mechanics, the formulas and the theorycraft in the game. So unless the game is simple but extremely difficult (like a shmup), I generally like them to be as complicated as possible. Bear in mind I think it should still be easy to figure out the ropes for the game though.
