Not a bad game but the music was a bit too upbeat for someone trying to escape a witch so the mute option is appreciated. I found it frustrating to find clues to use the dice board, the 4-digit clue that I did find didn't open the combination lock on the brick wall and I never did figure out what the grid with the red and green buttons was for.. However, I did spend about 25 minutes and managed to find enough clues to get me halfway through. Maybe make the clues a bit easier to find or to trace by the surroundings and the music a bit spookier.
I can appreciate that Melting Mindz has started deviating away from the orb hunts through massive maps and I liked that there was a decent storyline. There are a couple of glitches that I noticed though- The Examine feature doesn't work so well- Ex: I click on the shovel to examine it and it will show another item. And when I solved the number puzzle in Rm. 32 the shaded box stayed on the screen and wouldn't let me get the key, as though I hadn't solved the puzzle yet. Otherwise, it would've been great to finish it.
Great game. The only bugs I saw was the real-time lag- Ex: After a character leaves the group or dies the other characters still speak as if they're still there/ when you talk to the characters to boost their morale and ask Br4ndon for information about their pschoanalysis it's not updated. My advice would be to keep the psychologist as long as possible so talk to her alot because the group therapies can boost the whole group at once. Great job, I hope to see another game soon!
