Ghurkal, the more expensive cannons have a faster attack rate. Second is twice as fast as the first cannon, not sure about third tier, and then fourth tier is more of a machine gun, fast attacking cannon. First three tiers are instant kill though, yes. Something else, the French’s cannons seem to shoot further, but, if Engineers are in the…

The cannons do all have the same range and power from what I see, but the more expensive cannons reload much faster. Try placing a level 3 cannon next to a level 1 and watch the difference.
