The horses are restless, awake and aware the whispering wind – someone is there. The firelight flickers, eyes open wide – the killer walks into the light and I’m wondering, I’m thinking out loud “this is the price to be proud”. This is my defiance – Glossolalia. You pick this moment to blemish our land, the throats of the innocents cut on command all for the bloodmoney and skins that you rob. The vigilant will learn to play god. If purpose and purity are part of me now, this is the price to be proud, this is my defiance (hear the warrior cry). I bring you this moment, I bring you this dead one, I bring you this honesty never given to me, I sing and it’s louder. The faster I ride “I will take you down to the dark place, down, down, down”. Have faith in me, my eyes can see what you really fear – my heart can see what you really want here. Have faith in me I mark all my arrows so you know they’re from me – I pray they find your coward’s soul in singular pain, you will pay for a nation whose only crime it was to believe your lies (hear the warrior cry).
