About me

Are you a normal Kongregate user, but wish you had a few better features? Want to enhance the Kongregate experience? Try Better Kongregate! It’s a Firefox add-on that collects multiple scripts to improve user capability of Kongregate’s chat features (by utilizing the script functions of Greasemonkey). Of the many exciting things it has to offer, here are a few:

- Chat Resizer: Changes the size of the chat area, allowing for more visibility for better reading of the chat.
- Reply Command: Quickly respond to PM’s by typing “/r”; upon pressing space, automatically replaces with “/w [last user who sent you a whisper]”.
- Antispam: Auto-mutes anyone posting x number of times within y number of seconds, customizable by the user.
- KongreLink: Turns posted URL’s into clickable links that open in new tabs.
- Chat Highlighter: Highlight posts containing your username, and any other words you specify.
- PM notifier: While the Kongregate tab is unfocused, makes a small bleep and flashes the tab icon when you receive a PM, or when the Chat Highlighter is activated.
- Timestamp / In-chat Timestamp: Display a timestamp and PM link when hovering over a sender of a message/Display a timestamp next to senders of posts.

And more! Also, for you Chrome users out there wishing you could use these features, they work in Chrome automatically! Just go to the individual script pages linked here or the few linked above to install the scripts you want. (Disclaimer: Not all scripts work in Chrome, you’ll have to check to make sure they do.)

Yeah, I’m a huge fan of the game. Haven’t had a chance to play recently though, due to my internet connection issues.
