Would be nice to know if there is something different to attacks of mages; like: are they ignoring Armor, do the warlocks fire-attacks have a secondary effect?
The MUST be a reason why mages attacks deal only 30% of a physical hero's damage... but i can not find a source to teach me why.
I kind of like the game but I am pretty sad about my impression that there is NO reason at all to buy something different then Skelletons... other minions grow that expensive and their outcome is so low, that its simply wasted Power...
A really great game but the balancing between the characters and arts of war is crap.
Intelligence-based playstyle does NO dmg at all (except for this rediciulous Robot)...
Going for strength gives you good dmg, but makes you a glass cannon, playing hide and seek...
Opposite to that, going for Dexterity and Bows is absolutly OP, you kill everything in sec, with splash you one-shot whole waves (I even 4-shot this Jason Endboss!!!). No melee-creature-wave in nightmare made it even close to me - they die on sight.
And the last even stranger way to build: Endurance and Retailiation items with x% HP reg per hit... WTF! It works!!! AFK farming... WHY?!?!?!
The Game bugs... after a while units stop being produced (freeze) but the rest moves on... if you win the game in this time the units just run against the "wall" on the right side... all you can do is pause and retur to map... (pressing resume, keeps the option-screen up, but units move again... against the wall)
This game totally sucks... feels like:
"Yay! level 2 dungeon! i have 3level 6champs..."
"yay... way to easy encounters... i 3-hit them all"
"WTF!!! Boss-HP = 7700!!!!!!"
Awesome game! I love looking after an hour of work after my "pet", recognicing its time for rebirth again! (Devillish laughter)
The only thing that sadens me is that Magic is compared with Archery (and further more Melee-fighting) way behind; in terms of damage. After 5h of "playing" my fighter crits like 800 and my mage sometimes 160 (lightning) ... would be awesome if you fixed that "problem"... :)
Hmm... I kind of like the game, but the abilitydescriptions are crapy. "Fireball" is ranged, right?! But do I defend against it with mental or ranged def.? How is it with flame- or poisonarows, shadowstrike?! Dex modifies your chance to hit as well as to be hit?! How much and why isn't it written somewere?! Where do those criticals come from? "melee" works as well with a bow in terms of dmg?! o.O
WTF! I managed to have have a tailor-skill of 1015 but still the Beter recipes are at 0% success-rate, Artistry is not trainable besides Training-drinks... this crafting-system sucks... sry... drops the game from 4 to 3 stars...
This Game looks realy interesting but I can't play it because of a cut off screen right under the Mana & Health-bar (no spell-icons and no chance to enter an inventory).
At least the chance to use keybord-shoutcuts like "I" for inventory or "C" for Charactersheet would solve it...
