Thanks! And I don’t mind production quality, it makes it more kvlt and I have some albums from old rock bands like Elf that don’t have remasters so if it’s a bit quieter than usual I don’t mind at all.

So I suppose that means you won’t be living at home (or you’ll even out of state). Lucky you. My parents are insisting I live at home and commute, or at least be within driving distance from home, which severely limits my options. You probably had more of a university lifestyle than I’ll ever have. What did you study till now?

What do those subjects entail, I’ve never heard of them?

I applied to all of the upper-tier colleges in the area (NYU, Columbia), but I don’t really imagine I’ll get accepted. So I’ll probably end up going to a smaller local college. I mean, how am I supposed to convince my parents to let me go? I’m only 18, so they figure I’m still young, impressionable, etc. and I’m not about to go do something they blatantly told me not to do. It sucks, I know, but I don’t really see much leg room.

The program I’m probably going to end up going to isn’t at a community college and is actually a pretty decent program, which pretty much destroys any argument I can come up with. It’s not a problem with the program, I just want to get out a bit, you know? As you said, to experience the ‘university lifestyle’. Which is exactly what the parents don’t want to hear.

So we’ll see how it works out, hearing back from various programs next week!
