I live ... in the mountains because I don't trust people. That line reads off. If his distrust of people is a major element of the story, show it. If it's not, leave it out. People can figure out why he lives with his grandfather just fine.
newstylz: Roll a 1d4 long enough and you are bound to get the same number four times in a row. 75% chance is equivalent. In fact, the chances you are looking at is that in 1 out of every 256 attack sequences of four, that would create a miss. Not very high, but not low either. The chance of missing twice in a row is always at minimum 1/400 after all (attacks cap at 95% which allows for critical misses.)
Personally, I'd just love to see the special effects of the weapons and armor have more impact. I've only seen 5 battles where they've mattered at all. Also, the weapon choices kind of suck...the best to choose is one that does 4d4 so far. Doing consistent damage around 10 seems to be an easy way to win. Must better than doing 3.5 damage with a 1d6 weapon...
The game lags, and in the space ship some areas are so difficult to get past (the enemies respawn before the next transponder) that you can waste 20 minutes doing the same section over again making this the worst of the overall good series.
Not the best of the series. Enemies respawning makes it way way more difficult, especially when they get to respawn when you are trying to get to the next save point (which occurs twice on the right side of the ship)
