Hey y'all, Developer here: I uploaded the last version of the game we were working on before we stopped working on this project. Stargaze as well as the mode after Classic mode don't exist- it's still just classic. But many of the fixes you guys requested have been dealt with. I'm happy so many of you enjoyed this game and hopefully now more people will since the loading bug was fixed. Happy gaming. :D
To anyone who plays the game from this point forward: This version of the game will no longer be updated with bug fixes or changes. You can expect to see all of the changes in the RELAUNCH of this game which will occur sometime WITHIN THE FIRST 2 WEEKS OF JANUARY. The relaunch will feature another NEW GAME MODE and will have a REDESIGN as a while. It is also important to note that HIGH SCORES WILL BE LOST and SAVE FILES MIGHT BE LOST during the relaunch. I apologize if this inconveniences anybody in any way.
Hey guys- before I say anything I just want to thank you all for taking the time to play this game and I wanted to let you know that I am reading every single comment you guys make. Unfortunately my developer lives in a time zone that's 15 hours ahead from where I live, so it'll be at least another 4-5 hours before he's even awake to make changes to the game. Here are things we're going to look into or change 1) Change the "Resource Cap Reached" pop-up 2) Look into the game not loading 3) Look into character's changing into girls (Unwanted plastic surgery!) 4) Possibly add an additional upgrade to the owl and person
I'm actually going to be posting a full review of this game here (http://kongcg.blogspot.com/) but these are my immediate thoughts: You can't create a puzzle game and have no risk in each level. I zoomed through this game in about 8 minutes and I felt like all 25 levels were just a massive tutorial. The level design was also atrocious- there were close to no ways to actually lose on each level. For most of the levels you just had to release the boulder (if there was one), and then release the cookie. Not enough to this game at all. 2/5
Interesting concept. I think this game is too dependant on your mouse speed and would basically screw up anyone who prefers a lot mouse pointer speed. Also, some of these jumps are ridiculous. Having to jump 4+ blocks at that scrolling speed is just insane. I also feel like something seems incomplete about this game as a whole. 3/5
I love games of this genre, but I feel like yours has some things to work on. For one, maybe it's mechanics, but the game is way too difficult right off the bat. If you get stuck in 8th place, there's not really any way of you coming back to 1st place honestly. Incorporating a 'handicap' type of system would help with this. Also, some of the track designs need improvement. There's some points where it's frustrating because you cannot tell what's up ahead and you end up making a mistake. The graphics also don't seem to fit together very well. Either way, best of luck to you and your game. 3/5.
I'm sorry, but I can't give this game any higher than a 2/5 since it's basically unplayable. The mechanics of the game itself create frustrating gameplay rather than enjoyable gameplay. If you select the fastest car, you find yourself constantly hitting clouds and dying (since they are unpredictable). If you select a slower vehicle, you find yourself flipping too often and dying that way. A lot of work still needs to be done on this game as far as design goes as well. Plus there's only 1 level without some story of some sort? Sorry, but 2/5.
+ THIS SO IT GETS NOTICED!: This game is basically a rip-off of Mr. Space on the Apple App Store! Flag this game and get it removed. Link to original: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mr-space/id342621037?mt=8
Woah- This is really impressive damijin! The level design is amazing, as well as the great graphics and catchy music. The bonus levels also add a great touch to the game. I was a bit iffy at first seeing as this was your first platformer, but you really did do a great job with it. All in all, this was an awesome game, and I can't wait for your future releases. 5/5
