I think this game's story is very very offensive on villagers. The "your conquest has failed" screen is an obvious proof of this. The game asks you to "pillage" the villagers, and when you fail you see a screen with an evil villager although they are just defending themselves from an invisible hand! Killing humans might be fun, stress revealing etc. but why the villagers? This type of evil campaigne was done by the church during the dark age of Europe, just to enslave the villagers. The symbolism of swath in the hand of "Death" and of hayfork in the hand of "Satan" was just for to show the villagers as low-class people. The post-modern still keeps those symbols in cartoons though... I think the creator of this game owes an apologise.
