It'd be nice if we could see the enemy types that'll be in the next level while we're picking which tower types to bring along. My awful memory does not work well for this. Other than that, pretty fun. Lots of options on how to play, though I've been doing well with a double stack of duals on the bottom and sleepers facing out.
Don't get me wrong, I love every Effing Worms game I see. But I would love this even more if emerging from the ground to wreak havoc would transition into a metal cover of Christmas songs!
Story, fantastic as always. Music, awesome, of course. Loved the game mechanic of smoke, whether in rings or in clouds. Whether or not this promotes smoking (which I don't think it does), the game makes you think about life and yourself as well as about the puzzles. Puzzles were tough but not impossible, and for some reason, I couldn't stop playing to find out more. Props on yet another very well-made game.
One minor suggestion: Blowing smoke rings was a tad touchy, I feel, and could be difficult for some people to master timings. Other than that, loved it. Cheers!
Are you sure, huzzah? The Crowd Control section has you move the obstacles instead of the ship. Perhaps you didn't notice that you were moving the blocks?
Looks solid to me. I have to disagree with sicklemandin's suggestion for multiplayer mode, though. A game of Stacker is far too short for MP. I think high scores are good enough, in this case.
The ability to replay by just hitting Space again would be nice, so that people can play again without moving to the mouse.
Decent fun, but FAR too bug-packed to be a released game. I've had to quit two levels now due to level failure. The first involved units getting stuck on caltrops and being unable to move closer to my fort, even with the calendar button "fix." The other involved a total lockup, with units suddenly vanishing and reappearing, and not a single one of my shots could hit them. 2/5 until this can even be called a finished game.
I don't know, guys...This hard badge was really easy to me, and I've only played once before today. But I'm good at these sorts of simple games, and at action games in general. RPG's are my weakness, so you could laugh at my failures there :P I give this a 4/5. A 5 from me is rare, and only to a game that I feel really excels in absolutely every way and is unbeatable. But if the rating scale was out of ten, I'd definitely give it a 9. :)
Before I started playing this for the Kwest for the Holy K tourney, I didn't even have the hard badge. Now that I've played it about 25 times in two days, I'm unable to get times above 200 XD
Ignore my last comment. :P Fun game. I think it lags a bit too much for its own good, even on low settings, and I wouldn't exactly say that my computer is an ancient brick. I'll give it a 3/5, since it's only a demo. Can't win anything yet :P
Two notes. I think it's poor design to have the description of Cezar's special move hiding under the achievement for full monster upgrade, and I forgot my other note, so I'll just point out how catchy the music is :D 4/5
