I am done with my melody!
I did it with my previous account, and it did not take as long as I expected.

I begun yesterday, played campaigns to get energy so I could buy the music pack. Bonus that I got a big world from a campaign world too. I decided that it should be a vertical drop track, so the melody is playing while you fall. I soon noticed that I need portals too, so I went back to play campaign levels. I was then ready to make the melody. I noticed that one tone each seventh block was a perfect pace, and I was really lucky, because the height of the rows I had already filled most of my world with could be divided with seven, meaning I could line the notes up in horizontal lines.

Then I encountered some kind of bug I think. Sometimes I slowed down by entering a portal falling at full speed. This happened after the second row and so on, but not after the first row. I tested different metods. Many had different results. Changed direction of the portals, moved the note/block above one step up, added arrows before the portal to change the speed somewhat and added boost which I had to spend some energy in the shop at to obtain. For some reason you need to spend some energy on the boost to get them, but you do not need to spend enough to buy them. I also tried to move only the second portal one step up, and I had to move it upwards so the note got pushed because I had placed the portal on the border. That actually solved it. No more stops after entering portals. A quite illogical solution for a clearly weird bug.

Today when I finished the melody I noticed it did not even take up halv of the world. I decided to make something more and wanted to test scales. I also wanted to hear how the melody sounded at different tempos, so I needed effects. You know what that means…campaign levels again.

The vertical kind of tracks you just fall in have the benefit that you can play them backwards by just switching gravity. I noticed that the melody sounds really beautiful played backwards in a slower tempo. I also wanted to make it loop by your choice, so you could choose beforehand wether it should loop or not and do nothing while the melody is played. For that I needed switches… I decided to round up for the day and put a key + keydoor at the beginning so you could get past the boost while going backwards. I saved the looping and scales for another day.

Then something happened. I got banned. I tend to get banned here on Kong, and this was a permaban. This got me worried about how I could find my music world again. I had not checked the world ID, and the only details I remembered about my username was that it was many Js in a row and then E. I tried to check some profiles on the homepage, but none of them loaded. I thought that it could be intentional, an attempt from the staff to prevent guests from joining worlds. Guests are currently banned from the game since they could be used to create lots of open worlds making other worlds hidden from the lobby. So I logged inte my banned account on the ee.com site. With that I could load profiles, and I found my own profile. JJJJJJJE was the name. Being banned from Everybody Edits means you can goto lobby, buy stuff and do anything outside worlds. Playing worlds does not work, but I saw in the URL while trying to join my music world, that the world ID was shown. I could copy it, create this account and join my world. I got really happy as I listened to the melody played backwards. It is emotional. Here is the world ID:

I was very lucky to get done with my melody and make it playable just before getting banned. I was also unlucky to get banned. I usually get banned after sending different types of messages. With this account I had only played Everybody Edits.
