This is an excellent Game in Ten Days entry. It amazes me that people can make games like this in such a short period of time. I really like this art style. I just wish I was better at this type of game so I knew more what the final battle was like!
It's possible to get confused or frustrated with this game at the beginning. There's a reason you start in a little room. There's a reason you keep coming back to the level select room (tip: avoid the doors without the golden symbols until you've opened all the other doors/done everything else you can do--it functions as a way to reset the level later when you can mess things up.) There's a reason you can't move with the arrow keys (they get used for other commands later).
Give the game a chance and see what it has to offer. It has its rough spots, but the dev. is working on them.
If you do have problems with the badge awarding, remember to submit your badge request when it's the badge of the day. Then you'll get the BotD things automatically when I process your request even if I don't get to it until Monday...which is likely since I'm in an airport right now :)
Apologies for having a badge that seems broken as the badge of the Day. When you find our first weapon, take a screen shot and submit a request by clicking "Request Missing Achievement" and following the instructions. It's important to request the "Locked and Loaded" badge while it's still the badge of the day. I'm reporting the problems with this badge to greg who will let the developer know.
Hey, everyone. Greg has contacted the developer who has responded. Even though it's not fixed yet, we have indications that the dev intends to fix it. *Don't go to another website in order to get a screenshot to submit for a badge here!* We don't do it that way, sorry, but check back to see if it's been fixed in a few more days.
In the future, click the "game bug" icon near the rating stars to report a problem with a game to the developer. _Then_, if there's been not evidence that the game is being worked on in the next week or so (like a message in the comments or changes in the game), then send a message to email@example.com. Be sure to tell us that you already reported the problem to the developer, or we'll send you an email telling you how to about the "Game Bug" reporting feature ;P But, the message is passed on now, and hopefully the game will be fixed before long!
Well, lots of people have been telling me I *have* to try this very addicting game. I just loaded the game and the quality of comments and developer feedback to those comments have impressed me already. I know a dynamic game adventure awaits :-)
Badges are currently not awarding properly on this game. Go ahead and click "request missing achievement" for each badge that you earn but don't get. You need to include a screenshot (multiple screenshots may be necessary for Mouse over DJ--that's a really hard one) that shows that you completed the achievement and that has your username visible in the screenshot. We may retire some badges that don't work, so if you've been holding off, go ahead and submit the ones you have.
Seeing so many thoughtful comments on the game and the developer responding to so many of them makes me smile. It displays a type of intelligence and mutual respect that the internet needs more of, and it is an excellent example of why I love Kongregate! :-)
This has gone from being my favorite idle idol game, which is a classification with admittedly little competition, to my favorite of all idle games. It's fun to come back to after leaving it for hours, and the cleverness is fun when I do look during chat. You've really come a long way since your first game! I mean, most developers come a long way since their first game, but I actually remember all of yours ;D
This is lots of fun. I like that I can play it in "try and figure it out mode" or "click random buttons until I get it right" mode. Not the most intelligent response to your game, I know, but it fits my mood right now. I like the game a lot, though. You are a great puzzle game maker with lots of potential. Anyone who liked this should try his game, Defuse.
