sorry it took so long to get back to you, but a mixdown is the levels of individual tracks in a song, you’re final “mix” if you will. it seems everyone likes just the intro of dusk waltz, so here it is, extended into a full piece, tell me what you think of this one.

ok keep in mind that the plug in for finale is kontakt 2, and there is a kontakt 3 as well. and it can be used in any music program, cubase, logic, reason, acid pro so on so fourth. the only reason i dont have kontakt on my cubase is finale is on my laptop and cubase is on the pc, and im just too lazy to copy kontakt over. haha.

I’d start out with a book like “An Idiot’s Guide to Music Composition”. Harsh title but extremely helpful book.
I know you weren’t lying or anything. :) your comment was exceptionally sincere. And even if she won’t let you take music (although i hope she will), i’d be delighted to link you to some sited that have good lessons about music theory, etc. also could recommend some good books.
