you can stop the corrupt crops by doing this: wen you get to qubba ask the mission of oswald raff and accept it but do not complete ie for he will give you a pass to fort goks and escort the sniper for assassination of the leader of the desert patrol DO NOT COMPLETE THE ASSASINATION
