If you so choose to download this software, you are presented with a myriad of projects to involve your computers unused processing capabilites. The program is very flexible in regards to how much space, CPU, time (while the computer is in use or idle), etc. that you will allow BOINC to use up. I would encourage whoever reads this to at least look into BOINC, if nothing else. Thank you.
