As long as it’s a sticky, so be it. BUT – even if it is stickies, we do NOT have to go by the rules in your thread, unless Kongregate changes their rules requiring all debaters not to use any of the fallacies in your thread. The forums are for entertainment, not hardcore debate club wars.

Dude, those fallacies are part of the rules of debate. If you want to ignore them, the serious debaters will ignore you.

Serious Discussion is a discussion forum, not a ‘serious debate’ forum. One does not need to obey debate rules, and discussion is ok.

Serious discussion has unofficially followed the rules of debate for a long time. The mods encourage, most of the users encourage it, as it is one of the few ways to have a civilized discussion.
