Which type do you prefer? I’m partial to PF because it’s policy based, although I try to do Novice CX whenever I can get the chance. show less

I just like the logical, analytical arguments you have to make, while still being clear and concise enough that a random parent judge can follow your points. It’s really interesting to teach and argue for a complex philosophical idea with a person that has probably never read any philosophy in their lives =P show less

Really like PF- when the topics are right, anyway. Nice, hard facts to back up case with logic and quick, good speaking being the way to win. Although the topics in Texas sucked this year for PF. Two good topics was all I did. show less

Dec 7, 2010 3:56pm I’d just like to say, your posts in SD are incredibly sapient. A few others with long posts (not as long as a few of yours) are so difficult to read, but yours just seem to work.

Jan 6, 2010 10:34pm It really depends on what you’re trying to use as axioms. In general, if you feel the need to split them into a separate post, I would reconsider whether they are all necessary. Unfortunately, I can’t really offer anything more specific than what’s in the AX thread already without actually knowing something more specific about you… show moreIt really depends on what you’re trying to use as axioms. Unfortunately, I can’t really offer anything more specific than what’s in the AX thread already without actually knowing something more specific about your situation. Perhaps if you posted a draft somewhere so I could see roughly what you’re trying to do? show less

Dec 12, 2009 7:54pm Are you talking about people feel the need for someone to motivate them? Well couldn’t they just as easily get help from a co-worker?
