The prelude was definitely better. They tried to add too much, and removed the better parts of the game. Removing the boiler was definitely a mistake. I was excited to be able to use the fire and cold, but they're almost not worth it.

roddel80: Make sure you aren't in free play mode. Free play is for goofing off. The Moon, and Mars have been removed in free play mode.

I usually try to reach the moon on day 2. If I can do that, then I have a good chance of making it to mars on day 3. Getting 3 days does take some luck, but also knowing when to use your fuel, and when not to.
