Revenge is never a straight line. It’s a forest, and like a forest it’s easy to lose your way, to get lost, to forget where you came in.
Oh, above the wide steppes came the threatening clouds, but the fury of the people’s anger rose up and scattered them away oh, across the wide steppes have no chance to hide and the waves of the people’s anger overtake and scatter them away
In front of the barracks, in front of the main gate, stood a lamppost, if it still stands out front, so will we see each other there again, by the lamppost we’ll stand as before, Lili Marleen.
If all become untrue, true we remain that ever on earth a banner for you might be. Comrades of our Youth, you, picture of a better time, that consecrates us to manly virtue and a death for loves sake.
I once had a comrade, you won’t find a better one. The drum was rolling for battle, he was marching by my side in the same pace and stride A bullet flew towards us meant for you or for me? It did tear him away, he lies at my feet like he was a part of me He wants to reach his hand to me, while I’m just reloading my gun. “Can’t give you my hand for now, you rest in eternal life My good comrade!”
Hearts uninspired, trapped inside somebody’s dream too close to the fire, yet cold and numb with the pain but the fever has broken, and the river has run to the sea washed to the ocean, and saved by a voice inside me.Inside me a light was turned on then I was alive
Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be one night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew and in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I’m you. inside me a light was turned on then I was alive
My black-brown girl, you stay at home. therefore my girl, wave, wave, wave! under a green linden tree, A little finch sits Finch, finch, finch, keep singing: Girl wave!

We shall not recoil in the battle for our capital city, our birthplace and dear Moscow, like an undestructable wall, a steel bulwark, like an destructible wall, a steel bulwark, we will shoot and destroy the enemy.
Oh, above the wide steppes came the threatening clouds
But the fury of the people’s anger rose up and scattered them away
Oh, across the wide steppes have no chance to hide
And the waves of the people’s anger overtake and scatter them away

So far from home
So close to the enemy
The fate of a soldier
Defiant of death
We head into battle
Where fame and glory await us

Behind me, a figure came crashing through the doorway. Groaning and moving unsteadily on his feet, another angry pale man advanced up the stairs. I could see it now. This thing before me. Battered and bloodied, with decayed skin and a vacant gaze, it moved like no living creature in this world. I raised my weapon. I only hoped I had enough bullets.

Have you ever heard a joke so many times you’ve forgotten why it’s funny? And then you hear it again and suddenly it’s new. You remember why you loved it in the first place.

My love you march to war defiant may God returneth you triumphant and you’ll be brave, be strong, be true, my love and I’ll be waiting for you, forever…

Soldiers leaving their homes to the train setting off with this song to the front, singing it to defend Moscow in 1941, singing it to take Berlin in 1945

I am a sniper, a loner, I am not part of this world, but mearly observe it through my crosshair, I live by the shadows and die by the shadows, I am always distant from everything else, I am fearful by strenght, Invincible by distance, being a sniper is the worst thing to be, only Hell can cleanse what we do.

Is there a place for the hopeless sinner, who has hurt all Mankind just to save her own beliefs?

The street was deathly quiet, a low moan drifted in the midnight air as I slowly paced down the road. In the distance, the sound of machine gun fire crackled in short bursts, followed by the sounds of dying men and infected. Suddenly, I was thrown to the ground with a crash. I looked up to see a woman, her face cut up and her mouth shredded, her partially bare red, yellow teeth exposed from her broken jaw, torn to a ruin. She screeched and tried to bite my shoulder, but I tucked my legs up under her stomach and kicked her off me. She fell to the ground with a thud, but was back on her feet in a flash. She was again nearly upon me when her head exploded, splattering the car behind her with blood. She fell to the ground limp, and standing in front of me was a Police Officer. “Quickly, follow me before more of them come” he said, a 12 gauge in his hands. I nodded and got to my feet, before following my rescuer back to where he came from; Precinct 13. As I walked in through the gates I saw more survivors, huddled around small fires with groups of more Police Officers.’ I smiled as I finally realized I was safe from the terrors of Fairview. For now…

I do not know where they go, I do not know what they do, but when you’re in the countryside, you see many soldiers walking… far from anything.

May the poison purify your flesh of desire, and your spirit of ambition.
