Why do you think the news in America are biased? Do you not think the news here are biased as well?
The media here tends to be left wing – no matter what side the government may lean to. Sometimes the news channels (we have only 2 commercial ones and one of the state which NO ONE watches) publish articles about the ring on Bar Refaeli’s hand.
I’m tired from the news here as well.

Anyway, I’m more interested in what the media in America says about this issue. Can you please tell me?

One of Ahmadinijad’s known ‘traits’ is Holocaust denial, as well.
Why are you worried? If anyone’s ought to get nuked in some point, it’ll be Israel first. Jews have faced threats of destruction many times in the past. We tend to survive.
By Jews, I mean people with Jewish ‘roots’, who kept hold of their tradition (as silly as it is). There are atheist Jews as well – Many immigrated to Israel after the collapse of the soviet union.
Well, look on the bright side; If Israel gets nuked, there’ll be no palestinians or Israeli’s. That’ll solve the conflict :]

I don’t think Iran will really nuke Israel. It’s not in it’s best interest. I believe (or hope) that Iran’s leaders think that nuking Israel will make other countries go to war/embargo trade/whatever.
Their progress is worrying, but Israel has it’s army. And yes. Nukes (not actually confirmed officially but we all know that it’s not a textile factory). When pushed to the edge, Israel’s right wing minister will have to decide what to do.

Probelm is that the regular right wing minded people often say stuff like ‘kill all arabs’. Same as on the other side.
About the Iranian threat:
I think that nothing has been done yet about this issue. These so called sanctions had little to no influence. There is little possibilty for negociation when the other side refuses to know your existence and/or threats to destroy all zionists.
An attack, if there is no change in the situation – is inevitable.Operation Opera is an example when Israel felt an attack was nessecary.
You may think Israel is a bit paranoid. Maybe it is, but being paranoid was key to our survival as a nation (and as a people) in the past.

That might be good in theory – but there will always be stupid people that’ll ‘take religion too far’.
There are smart people as well that use religion to control their population. I wouldn’t have cared if they’d keep to themselves – but Israel is a bloody place. If it wasn’t religion – it would be because of territories. Or because we have a weird nose.
I guess I find it comfortable to believe that if it weren’t for religion the chances for peace here would be higher.
But anyway, my point is that smart people, when they have the possibility of controling others, will tend to do so. We’re mammals after all.

I know my ‘enemies’ all too well. I live in this (bloody religion filled swamp of a) country.
So many people have died because of theology. I find it hard to enjoy it, nontheless I don’t say that you shouldn’t.
You said ‘religions are for smart people’, and I’ve been trying to understand that statement. That was the meaning of my question. Religious people aren’t my enemies. The fanatics are. I don’t care if they sacrifice sheep all they want – I care if they use religion as a way to justify their actions (throwing rockets, the killing of christians in gaza, ect.). Therefore, why are religions for smart people?
