Kynara

Greetings and the moon’s blessing upon you, my name is Kynara, though my friends call me Kyna.

Kynara is a North Gransys gryphon who was stolen from her clan’s aerie as a cub and sold to a wealthy noble as a pet, after six years in captivity she had escaped after killing her “owner” during a session of “obedience training”, is for the most part distrustful of humans viewing them as cruel and sometimes savage, this view of humans was brought about when a young servant girl was executed for sneaking her food and water when she was denied anything to eat or drink. Kynara once lived at the Blue moon tower as it’s guardian, she then moved to the Temple of Azridal to live with her mate, though recently the pair have been driven apart by a rival regime that has taken control of Azridal and either exiled or killed those who resisted the change in power, She now wanders the wild preying on men, elves and dwarves alike.

9’4" at the shoulder with a wingspan of about twenty feet, white-colored coat and feathers Dark greyish-blue barring can be seen marking her breast feathers and her primary flight feathers, emerald-colored eyes, her wings are tattered and several scars litter her body after the revolution of power.

The younger variant is much of the same save for less barring on her feathers, shorter size, and wingspan.

As a gryphon from the land of Gransys her blood is infused with magic this gives her and others of her kind minor control of the winds and storms even allowing her to charge her talons and the air around her
wings with lightning.
