In one case I had to swap a money bag for a closing gate in order to go from silver to gold. It was just one-for-one, so I find it a tad odd since neither really used more resources. It becomes more of a "do it the way the author planned" than a "do it as efficiently as possible."

At first I was like "Bluh, hasn't this series gone on long enough?" Then I remembered, this is friggen' wiesi, the man who made Ultimate Crab Battle. If he says a series should keep going IT'S GONNA KEEP GOING.
Play Harry Quantum 2 Harry Quantum 2 Mar. 13, 2012
The fact that you can only click the differences on the right side in the "find what was stolen" part is unclear, unintuitive, and rather annoying. Might wanna change that before going gold.
Developer response from turboNuke

Interesting, ok, thanks! Now fixed.

Play Meat Boy Meat Boy Mar. 07, 2012
After playing Super Meat Boy, I realized why I didn't like the player's pack nearly as much as the original Meat Boy: because these guys are godly when it comes to level design. You guys sync up everything just right and space everything out perfectly, how could you not love this?

So when a dog sticks around the tree trying to catch the cats that come out, I guess you could call that puppyguarding? *awesomeface*

Most people who find out they've lost their save file to a game would be disappointed... but I'm just happy that I get a reason to play through this again ^-^
Play Adventure Story Adventure Story Jan. 27, 2012
I have to say that I was really disappointed in the Ninja suit. The hat is great, the sword's speed is nice, but increasing my jump wasn't nearly worth dropping down from the pirate suit to the ninja suit. Being that I tried to play as a glass cannon, I wanted the highest balance of Attack and Magic power possible, and I thought that full ninja would give me that, but I guess not... D=
Play Subtle Energy 2 Subtle Energy 2 Jan. 27, 2012
It's really a great improvement over other games like these. It emphasizes the puzzle aspect rather than annoying physics-based pixel-perfect requirements for success. That said, there's a few problems. The boundaries for where we can place things aren't totally clear sometimes, so it can lead me to believe an impossible solution is possible until I try to execute it (level 20, in specific). Most annoying of all is that a single pixel can turn several pixels into a merged color, causing some havoc if one spare pixel manages to reach an eye. Still the best game I've played in the subgenre, and a definite 5/5.
Play SOPA - The Game SOPA - The Game Jan. 23, 2012
Okay, I appreciate the message, but really... it's just a single image. Not even that, just two lines of text and a link. I'm not about to give it a 5 star because I hate SOPA any more than I'm about to give one of the many dozen "hurt/kill a celebrity" games five stars just because I don't like the celebrity in question.
Play Musaic Box Musaic Box Jan. 22, 2012
The game's very good, but it does seem a bit weird that we're solving these puzzles in an old classical musical lover's house... to play modern versions of "Mary had a little lamb" and "Old McDonald had a farm."
Play Cuboy: Cubeture 2 Cuboy: Cubeture 2 Jan. 21, 2012
Wandering NPC's have a tendency of getting in the way of things... it's rather annoying.
Developer response from ediblecastle

Yes, we're aware this happens at times and agree that it's annoying. We'll keep thinking of how else we can fix this - unfortunately it's a tough one.

"There's something fishy about this plaice" Seems to be a typo.
Play Super SOPA Bros. Super SOPA Bros. Jan. 19, 2012
I approve, but the game itself is still rather mediocre. I can't wholeheartedly rate a game 5/5 just because I agree with the message.
Play Creeper World: Evermore Creeper World: Evermore Jan. 17, 2012
After all the fuss about Jan 17th I was expecting something much tougher than that... I didn't really need to change my strategy at all. Forfeit the lower grounds to the creeper immediately and build up some energy. Build a couple drones and keep the pools on the far-right down with them. The pool nearby shouldn't be full by that time, so build a relay across the far-left-side to the island and use a mortar on it. Ignore the two southern upgrades and work your way across the top to get the two totems (make sure to build SAMs) and then clear out the ledge that the last totem is on with a blaster. Honestly, you folks need to learn the power of Drones.
Play Ring Pass Not Ring Pass Not Jan. 17, 2012
I feel that the badge really did more to harm this game than it did to promote it, really. It's more of a casual, Bejeweled-esque, "How far can you get before dying" game than a game you want to try to force players to complete.
Play Outpost:Haven Outpost:Haven Jan. 14, 2012
I've been rather annoyed at how easily one can overlook their face being chewed off... The little enemy bugs are kind of hard to see while attacking you, and at least three times I died because I didn't even know they were there. It'd be nice if there was some indication other than the draining health. A noise or a flash or something?
Developer response from GamingYourWay

The player sprite does flash white when under attack, adding a noise would soon become really annoying. Thanks for taking the time to play and comment on the game.

Play Bounzy Bounzy Jan. 03, 2012
It's not the most well designed, original, or well-executed, but I appreciate the fast-paced nature of it all. Too many of these sorts of games take way too long for anything to happen.
Play Creeper World 2: Academy Creeper World 2: Academy Jan. 02, 2012
Do keep in mind guys, this is only a demo! There's way more levels in the full version so I'd advise checking it out!
Play Adventure Story Adventure Story Dec. 25, 2011
That awkward moment when you recognize a song because you're the one who commissioned it for a crappy half-finished game ^-^' Anyways... The enemy-bouncing seems rather finnicky, I hope you get to fixing that up a bit.
Play Alone Alone Dec. 22, 2011
Nicely done! Honestly though, more as a critique for a Ludum Dare entry than a Kong game, you really shouldn't have just named it "alone." Games that are just named after the theme tend to get passed over a lot more. XP Wow though, talk about doing a lot in a short amount of time.
