Seriously, what is your validation for blocking this post? There was no personal attack on any particular group whatsoever. Just wondering. It seems as though a common thread in your forum moderation is that there is no explanation as to why you block the things you block or do the things you do.

Oh hai. There’s just a little more than an hour left for the year where I live so I’m just going to make this mass message. It’s not that I don’t love you or don’t think you’re special. I’m just feeling lazy right now.

The large male panther and the female tigress are sitting together, cuddled up under a down comforter, sipping coco from Christmas’y mugs and taking it easy on the couch that faces a huge picture window looking out into the snowy night. The view is a street of Victorian homes flanked by large yards and ornate wrought iron fences. Snowmen and snowforts dot the yards, proof that the children have had the run of the place by day. Huge, sprawling trees spring from the snowy curbsides, branches covered by the still falling snow. It’s a beautiful sight, the old houses done up tastefully with a few strands of multicolored lights – only a few winking here and there. Everything is touched by snow – mailboxes, roofs, windowsills and branches – all of it having that unique pastel blue-purple hue and looking like piles of diamond dust sparkling in the dim light cast by the few remaining windows lit with a warm, golden glow. There’s a tranquility in it – the snow muffling any noises, so the night stays pretty and quiet. One or another of the old Christmas music standards plays somewhere in the background while their Christmas tree does it’s best to not be gaudy nearby. The pair both smile at you warmly. “We want to wish you and yours our very best wishes this holiday season. Merry Christmas, and have a Happy New Year,” – New and Kitten – 2011.

You need to unlock the Kwanzaa thread ASAP. It asks the SAME QUESTION the Merry Christmas thread does.

A question about Kwanzaa, why do you feel it is not as widespread as Christmas, or even Hanuakka? Is it racism? SEE? This was taken directly from the thread. It asks 2 questions for us to discuss, while the Christmas thread only has one. Did you not read the thread before you locked it?

It needs to be opened ASAP before African American and Jewish groups think Kongregate is Anti-Jewish and Anti-African american.
It looks very badly that the Christmas thread is open to discuss, but the Kwanzaa and Hanuakka threads are locked.

Hello, I would like the thread here to be unlocked. I put lots of time into creating it to have a stable base for everyone to discuss the 2012 Republican nominations. It is far superior to the other thread that was mentioned in every respect. It has factual data on the candidates. It has my personal opinions, and the discussions of many others. I disagree that an older thread that is inferior should be allowed to continue simply because it is older. It makes no sense to lock a thread that has so much good info, correct formatting, and the potential to foster some excellent discussion.

If this is not possible to unlock it, may I request that if the other thread dies and is not updated for a long time, can the thread above be unlocked, as clearly the community abandoned it at that time? I will then update the thread with the latest info, and then post my feelings and stances on the candidates. Thanks for your time.
