Lazeruz's profileAbout meThe biggest challenge is that we will soon be 10 billion people in the world or even more, and it will require more resources, more space, more energy, more water and above: more food. But the sea is almost empty of fish, and we clear the forest and nature away as fast as we can to build more cities and suburbs. It is difficult to see how people will be able to save the environment when in fact it is the humans who is the threat. The second challenge is that almost ALL of the food is based on cheap oil, and nothing must go wrong with system we have today – they are no untouched food server anymore: Production, growth, harvesting, distribution – everything can be done because we have cheap energy that is produced for us. There is not a single electric combine or truck out there. Everyone is building electric cars to save the motoring. There MAY be a slight focus errors. And it CAN be a bit stupid to put myself in a position where nothing must go wrong. Maybe harmless CO2 is not “the greatest threat to mankind ever”? And perhaps there is not the problem that is the most urgent, right now? - Lazeruz
