well i guess a description of how far you have went would be a good addition to the game. say if you travelled 3 meters you could say for instance grats! you have moved to the other end of the room! probably in later games you could say that you have moved halfway out of the galaxy or stuff like that. it literally gives you the feeling of travelling, and it is more fun instead of just looking at the tera peta and those bizarre prefixes trying to figure out how far it is.
more functionality upgrades could definitely help to make this game even better. Something like precise weapons that minimizes damage to the ecology, probably buildings that could improve the growth rates of planets or shield the inhabitants from the swarm? Neutralizing any conditions you have on the planets would be good imho. and i did discover a way to farm biomass without using attack command, probably someone else found it but still.. just use the heavy harvester on the planet before it reaches 4.0, then you will have loads of biomass and only need to reseed it. works exceptionally well after u have the terraforming tech, just make nearest normal planets 1.3 and then you have an unending flow of biomass as civilizations less than 4.0 doesnt incur any random (and bad) events.
hint: go for missile launchers, they are really useful! and make use of the reset pirates option to farm the boss as well as equipment. if u think that the reload is too long, use the afterburner and zoom away when it reload. with 6 battle launchers the final boss which has 3000 hp is done with 4 bombing runs. easy to master, and easy to use, hail launchers!
i dont even use barricades or start with reactors anymore, as soon as i have my physics lab i use it to build loads of miners which means an incredible amount of energy. combined with freeze drones they could take down even the biggest bases as long as they dont have aoe ships or defences :P
Fascinating game, bought the premium already and is well worth it!
But please make the other races playable! They look really cool and have different units and stuff and I definitely want to play them too! +1 if u think so too please :P
works out really good for me, really good game. It could use some little improvements though, like the hotkeys ppl have mentioned, and maybe a list of stuff thats incompatible with something, i bought railgun and found out it cant use HE shells :S Also, displaying the weapon stats in the shop with one colour and all the bonuses with another will also do, that could show ppl whats the difference and what parts need to be changed afterwards :) overall a very fascinating game, solid 5/5
Hours of play and replay, loads of different missions - each with a different strategy, good soundtrack and plenty of upgrades, solid 5/5, and one of the favourites on my list. It allows u to build when paused, which is really helpful. I would suggest to pause at start of each level and start building ur own defenses and stuff. I always start with a reactor, maybe some would have a different idea here. btw, in the second game I unlocked the titan artillery even before the missile rack! When combined with constructors and some reactors its just so powerful xD(dont forget to protect it with barricades and other turrets ofc) I just love to see them bite through enemy bases like a hot knife through butter, that's the ultimate fun of tower rush here lol
very recreational and relaxing game, with very good music and theme - upgrades and stuff always attract me xD. but still i found my workers building supply and refinement buildings all the time, i would really suggest that there is a list of all buildings in game and resources they need. (as i cannot understand the class tree system, i would appreciate it if there is an option to change the preferences of building and mining, etc) sorry for my English but this is a very good game and i will be following it xD . Thanks devs! Great job!
Awesome game, good story and fun factor in there. The only thing is that crafting high level items needs loads of time, when you unearth an artifact or two in the end you will need tens of minutes crafting the items needed for the research. If this could be improved the game would be perfect. Had been playing this for weeks as I lost my first save, but I would really like to find out the ending so I kept playing. Good work there, solid 5/5.
