Regarding VIBRATIONS: The game you see before you today is the product of limitations inherent in flash gaming. Anything bigger than 10MB will not spread, and thus not make us developers money. We need money to eat, so we had to cut things out. Yes, Vibrations is a little strange when only viewed within the context of the land mode. If this is the only problem you have with the game, we think that's a good sign.

You can see information on artifacts in the bottom of the research pane. Chests will always try to give you an artifact based on the depth they are at. Once you unlock all possible artifacts at that depth, they will give you refined materials instead.

We have implemented support for badges on our end. So all that is required for it to happen is as many plays, and as high a rating as possible. :D

Guys, we've seen several mentions of the "elevator beam" not functioning. The only way we can get it to stop working is pressing DOWN while in it, which is the way we made it. But once you stop pressing DOWN it should go right back to functioning normally. If this is a bug, we would like to fix it but are unable to replicate. So, please, if you had or have this problem, send us a bug report and describe what you were doing when it happened.

All "component" recipes are gained by finding alien artifacts in capsules. You can see the artifacts in the bottom half of the research pane. We give as much guidance as possible: Find Lost, Buried and Hidden items.

If your computer isn't powerful enough to run the game with all animations on, try lowering the quality (the Q button in the menu).

People complaining that there is no ending: THERE IS AN ENDING. Once you find all the alien artifacts, a special location is uncovered on the map. But you have to select it to actually travel there and trigger the ending cinematic. This was done so that people could both keep playing and revisit the ending cinematic should they wish it.

Teleport Pads, and all other consumables are crafted from their respective modules. Just select the module and press "craft" to get X consumables of that type, where X is determined by the Utility Slots upgrade.

There are two kinds of recipes in the game: A) Refinements: let you combine lower tier resources into higher tier ones, and even refine them. These are unlocked based on the resources you obtain throughout playing (once you get X Tiny Iron Nugget, you unlock the recipe for Ordinary Iron Lump). B) Components: used to upgrade and build more advanced components. These are instantly unlocked by reverse engineering "alien artifacts" you find in capsuled throughout the world. (you can keep track of which ones you are still missing in the bottom half of he the Research Tab)

Gas geysers explode when you dig into them (and do considerable damage). The damage is a % of your health, so as long as you are above three quarters of your health, it can never, ever kill you outright. SO before digging in a dangerous spot, and especially after you hit a geyser, stop and consume some raw resources to repair the damage.

The ESC key should make the videos skip. Other than the intro and ending, all others are optional. Furthermore if that does work, refreshing the page will put you right at the spot after the video, so no progress whatsoever is lost.

Thanks for your feedback. Since many of you have asked us to add an option to split the items into smaller ones, we have added this feature. It's a new button in the ship inventory window (next to Craft Object). Don't forget to go to the ship first to auto-save the game, then refresh your browser. Check if the version is 1.39 K (near the title in the main menu), and then the new feature should be there :D

Upgrades require the Engineering Bay module, while combining raw materials to craft better ones requires a Research Nexus.

Read the description of the item you are trying to obtain, all relevant information is there. Small lava can very easily be obtained by letting the drops fall you to collect them.

Capsules always activate their "elevator beam" once they are opened (drilled into). OFC, if there is rock right above them you won't be able to ride it up, but the beam itself passes though all terrain, so you can take detours or use dynamite when that happens.

If you select Obsidian, or any other raw resource in the Inventory it will show you all relevant data; including how it can be obtained.

Completing an objective rewards you with bonus time (tracked at the top right of the screen). During this time you receive 2x the resources from any nodes mined. This helps you maintain momentum.

Items/Artifacts are obtained from the capsules that are present in every map. There is no such thing as a 'Missing Item', only Buried, Lost and Hidden. You can see the details of artifacts in the bottom half of the Research Tab.

I'm trying to understand the issues you are having with lava. The description clearly states: "Dripping from lava pockets." The lava you get from drilling a pocket is always one grade higher than whatever is dripping from that pocket.
