Queens (whip-like arm summons monsters quickly) only really take damage from head-shots so you should focus fire them. Bouncers (jumping guys) I've found that using cryo-bullets on them are useful since jumping less = less damage to you. Around wave 21 you might need to switch from using normal healths to full healths (even though they are expensive) and using the composite shield to reduce damage since they'll be ranged enemies, queens, and other enemies that spawn extra enemies. The Apache is good enough and should be used when necessary past wave 20, but use the artillery when you are being swarmed by the runners.

10/10... This game is definitely fun and worth checking out if you like defense FPS's. The game gets progressively harder each wave so I would focus on upgrading your main weapon for the most part. You can make it through the first 8 or so waves with just the starting weapon and just save up until you can afford m60. I used the m60 all the way until wave 20 so its a powerful gun, but the m2 is stronger so if you can save for that do it. Of the MOD's the only one's you should really purchase are the double damage ones (which you should start stockpiling and using around wave 16) and the armor pierce (which you'll need against the zombies that block with their arm, that start around wave 10). In the late game stock up on health packs because you won't be able to kill everything and pretty much use them when necessary. Good Luck

A castle destroying game for sure. Its not too bad but easily comparible to crush the castle. After playing through part of the game its definitly an improvement from some of the previous castle crushing games the developer has done in the past. Obviously the coolest toy in the weapons I've tried in the castle editor is the one that is pretty much a bomb strike that you get to control without using the catapult. If you've already played through Crush the Castle and you're looking for more check this one out otherwise its probably not for you.

If that scene in resident evil (the movie) was 2d it would be this game.

Game is really fun lots of action happening all over the screen dodge to stay alive collect points for a better score. Lots of interesting and unique enemies. I've had one problem with sticky controls which would pretty much get me killed if it ever happened but otherwise great game.

Pros: The game is pretty neat, I like its clean looking cut scenes (pictures given some 'animation') although they are a bit long. It also has a combo count that comes up which is fun. Cons: The game quality is pretty much double dragon (NES) so not really anything innovative but decent. Of course there are some grammar mistakes and a couple screens that have Japanese text only. Overall: First off I want to say I only played the first stage and half the second... Basically the game boils down to Double Dragon, which people probably expect more out of a game these days (RPG stats, equipment, objects to interact with besides enemies and crates). It's a pretty basic action button masher so take it or leave it at that.

I like how the developer decided to start the game off against an archer opponent. Its a real subtle thing but if you lose your first game its probably because your opponent massed up a bunch of archers and then you kept sending units at him one by one. This teaches the user one of the most important concepts in this game, Massing units is important: more units help protect each other (except in the case of beholder or piercing archers).

It will be interesting to see a verses mode since so many people think that doing a rush strategy (lots of gold mine and instant gold) is an unbeatable but a repairs/portal growth/firestorm combo will just rip it apart and you'll win without even having to touch your opponents portal in ten minutes flat just from the portal growth. Dwarven boon should probably be limited to 1 or 2 though because that card is just ridiculous. I'd also be interested to see a global effect that is the opposite of parting gift that punishes you for losing troops.

If you like impossible quiz you've probably played this game already. A lot of trial and error pretty frustrating stuff if you ask me.... plus no continues... I got to the answer this simple question and just got fed up with it.
Play Flagstaff: Chapter One Flagstaff: Chapter One Feb. 25, 2011
The only bad things about the game that I can say is that its very easy and that the upgrades are a little awkward since after level 8 giving everyone in your team 1 extra action just makes it impossible for the enemy to do anything. Overall 4/5 good start.

Wohoo! Finally beat it on nightmare! Its really really difficult but if you follow strategies that many other people have posted about very hard its basically the same strategy. In my win I had a lot of luck for sure but I tried to minimize at much as possible and towards the later part of the game almost remove any chance completely since survivors/soldiers are super critical. Was able to end the game on day 152 with 64 survivors by clearing the map... it gets ridiculous at the sending 40+ soldiers to one city 10 days in a row just to get the last city. Very good game you need a lot of luck though to get through the beginning stuff on the harder difficulties.

Anyone else try the game on harder or nightmare... I got to the point where i had most the map (only missing 32 squares) 40-45 survivors and about 6 or so total people left to recruit and than i just kept getting hit by large waves of zombies (numbers of zombies that were not impossible to defend against but i was never really able to get anywhere with around a 20% chance of being overrun) just seems like there should be a way to repopulate in the late game since I had plenty of food just not enough people to get the job done.

The game is good very similar to "Pillage the Village" (even down to the coins popping out and rolling horizontally) but much shorter and less complex. It is however much easier to "kill" the enemies by throwing them in this game.

You want to get a lot of gold for the high scores? Use "Stonebreaker Arrows" to break the entire level and get 1 gold per brick, have the theif skill "Rune of Greed", and paladin "Rune of Endurance" (in case you get hit so you don't lose Archer trait). "Rune of energy" is also useful but not as necessary. + this if it helps.

This game is very fun. Its the type of game that knows what it is and doesn't try to overstay its welcome. Pros: Achievements are really fun to get (masks/equipment) Simple and fun gameplay Lots of different powerups Cons: Falling- granted this a core aspect of the game but it just feels like you skip a lot of the level without fighting 80% of the enemies. This game could easily be just as good as a side scroller rather than a falling game. Gold- The game feels a bit awkward when you are trying to gather this because sometimes a chest is buried 3 blocks deep (meaning to get it you need the paladin) and sometimes a chest is sitting right next to you (meaning you need a ranger/wizard) and you are just the wrong class for the wrong situation and theres nothing you can do about it. A cool idea (not absolutely necessary) would be that each level you can find certain classes and then switch freely between them after you acquire them.

Granted the game is 14 years old its still pretty sweet that its in a flash version that runs smoothly as far as i can tell. Great for people who've never seen the game but if you've played it before I'd just download the actual game for the best experience.
